TGIF

We all have the lurgy still and all felt a bit drained the first part of the day so after a spot of English (KS2).  We decided to crack on with the autumn tree that has been a week in the making...

Takes a long time to draw, colour & laminate a whole heap of leaf’s or is it leaves argh!!  Seeing Homonyms everywhere now.

Then I had to cut said leafs (?)  out, which is quite hard when you have just got over cold sores and have now developed whitlows on your index finger...

(Part of the fun of having a poor immune system)

Never one to do anything by halves (or is it half’s J) couldn’t just have one really painful wart, nope nor two, or three but four, highly contagious so am wearing a pretty plaster with bugs,  but I digress....

So here is our tree before the leaves (bat ears aka the voice, decided to wear her Dora tutu for the day, as you do).

Then with the addition of our Leaves J

 Heck why stop there.....

Lets add a couple of ladybirds, a squirrel, a butterfly, some pumpkins, grass and a sweetcorn  (Still not sure where that came from).

Been as the girls worked so hard we watched The Sims 4 - Moving In [2] with stampylonghead

(I don’t think they would give it the time of day if Stampy wasn't in it, it’s like watching paint dry but each to their own).

8yo  then decided she wanted to draw a Panda, not a bad first attempt either.

4 yo had an hour on the computer, learning alphabet, singing songs, just getting the feel of a new programme so I decided to treat myself to a bath...

Where did the time go? Suddenly it’s 6pm and dinner isn't cooked/eaten.

Decided on sausage, chips and lots of veg (All Organic of course) and quick!
Waitrose do some amazing deals if you go at the right time, or if you have wonderful friends/neighbours who go for you :)

Time for a bit more Stampy on YouTube, Minecraft not Sims for 8 yo, trying not to feed her addiction so won’t be on for long....

4 yo in bed now so I can take the ear plug out at last, strangely enough she didn’t raise her dulcet tones today,  but it just wasn’t worth the risk, it’s no joke walking round almost totally deaf in one ear, especially when I answer the door with the bright orange plug sticking out the side of my head.

Am so glad the week-end is finally here, it has been a fun filled learning week and now I have 2 whole days to relax

hahaha  if only.....     Need to plan out next week’s activities.

Highlight of next week:

Upcoming trip to the NHM to see naked hairy cavemen on Wednesday (One Million Years of the Human Story exhibition) So if you are going, look forward to meeting up. Should be a blast!

Enjoy your Friday evening, It's wine o'clock so I'm off, speaking of clocks I still haven't worked out how to publish these blogs with the right time. Oh well I will get it right eventually.
